I'm such a slacker
Hey guys :( I haven't been posting when I was suppose to at all and I'm really sorry. With the end of the semster upon us and finals and me trying to get all my college stuff squared away I have been really busy. In that case I have chosen to only upload post only 1-2 times a week until we come back from Christmas break! I will be sure to have some awesome stuff for you guys up soon! STAY GOLDEN!!

Eye shadow Frenzy
Okay I know that I'm uploading pretty late, but that's not going to stop me from getting my posts up to date for you guys! Especially since I got 5 different eyeshadow palettes to show off! I'm not being sponsored by any of the companies that I mention in this and will be giving my honest opinion on all of the products. SOOOO LEEETTTTSSSS GETTT STARTEEDDD!!!
Okay so I want to start off with these W7 eyeshadow palettes that I recently purchased off of Amazon a few days ago. I had seen many reviews done on these paletttes and this made me want to give them a try.I paid only about $35.00 for all four of the palettes combined which seems like a great deal to me. I believe that this company is based in the UK or somewhere else overseas, but I am not that sure.
These palettes all have a specific theme to them. The "In the Buff" palette is the dupe of the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette I believe. The "Lightly Toasted" are warm tone colors. The "In the Nude" has a rose gold vibe too it which I think is really cute. And lastly, the "In the Night" is filled with dark seductive smokey eye colors.
Now, to be honest the color pay off of these aren't too good except for the "In the Buff" palette which I quite enjoy. They seem to not be very pigmented and are kind of chalky, while the "In the Nude" palettes colors are pigmented and kind of creamy which is very confusing since you would think they would all have the same formulation, but I was proved wrong.
I would not call this a waste purchase however, because with a good primer and a white base you will get some pigmentation and will be able to have your eye shadow look last all day. I would suggest you get this palette for beginners since it's not too pigmented so when you make a mistake it is not too pigmented and will not look too bad when you finish the look.
I would give these palettes a 6.5/10 , because I like the packaging and that you can build the colors. It would also, make a pretty good gift for the holidays.
The last eye shadow palette I would like to review is the Lorac pro palette. Now, I know what you guys are thinking, that I'm very late on trying this palette out but I just didn't want to spend the money for it! But I have been watching so many reviews on this palette I just had to give in and buy one. So, I looked on Amazon to find it because I am signed up for Amazon Prime and I really wanted to hurry and try the palette. And that's when the most AWESOME thing happened to me! I found it on amazon and I did not realize it was cyber Monday. So the palette only ended up costing like $26.00!!! I can't remember the exact price but it wasn't over that price. I was so happy that I got such a steal on this palette because it is amazing!
Over all I feel like this was a great purchase for me, and I will definetly always search Amazon for the best makeup deals on awesome makeup!

When I swatched all of these colors I fell in love with them! They are just so pigmented and creamy I can't help myself! It also came with their eye shadow primer which I love too and helps the eye shadow stay on even longer then it already was with my e.l.f primer that I use everyday!
Do not sleep on this palette everyone or this company! They are worth the price and you will be very happy in the long run !
Over all I feel like this was a great purchase for me, and I will definetly always search Amazon for the best makeup deals on awesome makeup!

I know , I know what you all are thinking. I suck because I didn't post yesterday ( or you don't really care cause you got lives of your own). I do feel like crap cause I didn't post. I had a choir concert and I had to be there at 5:30 so when I got out of school I rushed home so I could get ready and when I got home I was extremely tired. To make up for my slip up I will be posting twice day and even do a review on some beauty products I just purchased! So make sure to look out for 2 more posts after this one! Stay GOLDEN!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Since this is technically my first fun post I get to publish I would like to start off by saying hi once again. I won't introduce myself again since you all will probably get tired of hearing that from me.So, let's just jump right in shall we!
Since Thanksgiving is right upon us social media had become full of different hashtags showing the differences of how different races spend there thanksgiving. I can't say that these are not hilarious , but I can say that these are actually are pretty accurate or for the black aspect because I can't speak for other races. I know that all my uncles, aunts, and cousins all sit down together and play countless games of cards and dominoes. And I use to always be so jealous that I couldn't play with them because I was too young, but as I grew up I decided that it wasn't worth since all my uncles would do is cheat and then get mad when someone would call them out on their bluff!
Another thing that I have noticed since these popular hashtags started rising was were they would say that long lost relatives would start popping up out of no where then claim to remember me. They know good and well that I would never remember them in a million years! But since you don't want to get cursed out by your grandma you stand there and act like you remember them like it's possible to remember someone when your only 1 years old, and you give them a hug and a kiss. That was always something that has bothered me about Thanksgiving and I would always get in trouble for not giving them a kiss. But, come on people don't act like it isn't weird to kiss a complete stranger especially when they smell like mothballs, stale crackers, and cigarettes!
Regardless, of all the chaos that starts to happen around the holidays we all love it! And just enjoy spending time with our families no matter how distant they are!
I have some special news that I will also upload some fun videos to the blog also, maybe by tonight or tomorrow I will give you guys a special preview to my introduction of my videos that my sister will be creating for me. They will be a regular thing unless you guys want it more, and in that case I will be happy to deliver that to you guys! I hope you guys have a very blessed Thanksgiving! Stay GOLDEN!!

My posting schedule
Okay guys, I believe that I figured out how I want to schedule my posts! Alright since I am still currently in school and hoping to get a job , I will have to make sure that this fits in nicely with my lifestyle.
I will be posting 3 times a week until further notice depending on the demands of my readers. I will be posting on Tuesdays, Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m. central time and on Fridays at 6:00 p.m central time. I also, will do surprise posting when it's necessary. On Tuesdays I will be talking about school and giving my opinion on that subject, on Wednesdays I will be discussing pop culture, and trends in fashion and social media, and lastly on Fridays I will be doing a wrap-up on my week or sharing funny stories about my friends or family! My Very First Post!!!
Hey everyone! I would just like to say thanks to everyone who is viewing this post since I know that it's my first one!! I'm so excited to be starting this up and I really want this to take off and I will try to make sure that I put 100 % into this.
For starters I would like to introduce myself. My name is Christiauna Hayes and I am 17 years old. I'm a senior in high school and am very grateful that I made it through high school and will be taking the next big step into my life. I decided to start this blog to give others an insight on what I will be going through through these crucial years of my life.
In my blog I will be talking about anything from high school problems, funny stories, and classes, starting college, makeup tips/struggles, trends and my take on them, family,friends, and pop culture in general. I would also love to become an outlet for others to go to when faced with problems in their life since I would like to go to nursing school and minor in psychology.
